THE RIDGEVILLE STORY

1966

Ridgeville Elevator is Founded

The Beck Brothers open the elevator to serve local farmers in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio.

1978

Incorporated Under Darwin Beck

Darwin Beck becomes sole owner and officially forms Ridgeville Elevator, Inc.

1986

Expansion into Agronomy Services

The company acquires Zehr and Co. fertilizer plants in Gerald and Ridgeville, launching the Gerald Ag Center and Ridge Fertilizer.

1999

Elery Branch Opens

Ridgeville Elevator acquires Clady Elevator in Malinta, Ohio, now known as the Elery branch.

2001

Fayette Branch Launches

The purchase of a Pettisville Grain location adds the Fayette branch to the Ridgeville family.

2019

A Legacy to Remember

Darwin Beck passes, but his commitment to integrity, progress, and community continues to guide Ridgeville Elevator.
